As summer break winds down to a close for children across the Kansas City metro, my friend shared with me how her daughter’s summer bucket list was going. Her daughter had crossed off several items on the list. From having a photo shoot with friends (translates to pictures at the park during sunset), to having an ice cream feast with flavors and toppings galore, her ideas have been fun and creative. Two things remain on that list – Going to Worlds of Fun and Tie-Dying t-shirts. Although she may not get these items complete in the next few days, beautiful weather is headed our way as we go into the fall season, so she still has time to get them done.
