Did you know that the first week of August is “Simplify Your Life Week”? I can only imagine that this was started as a way to prepare students, parents, and educators for the beginning of the next school year. Why not find ways to make your life simpler as you prepare to dive into the busy fall? Here are some tips for simplifying your life this week:
–Declutter your closet. We all have clothes that we don’t wear because they are not the correct size or they aren’t our style anymore. If you are anything like me, I keep clothes in my closet for far too long! Once you get rid of clothes and shoes that you no longer wear, you will be amazed at how freeing the simplicity of your closet is.
–Use your crockpot. Or if you don’t have one, go out and invest in one. You can find countless recipes that are delicious where you just throw the ingredients in a crockpot, turn it on, let it sit for a few hours, and then serve. How much simpler would life be if all the cooking was done in one dish and was ready with little to no effort?
–Delegate tasks. If you have a spouse or children that can help with the house, let them help you! By delegating tasks to different people you can free up time to do other important tasks on your to do list.
–Unsubscribe from emails. I went through my personal email and found that I was subscribed to 31 different emails! I got rid of half of them and it has freed up my email tremendously.
–Get an insurance agent if you don’t have one. If you do, let them do the work! If you want to make sure you are getting the best rates, a call to an agent can get that done. They can shop around for you and see what they can do. Think you need more coverage? They can do that too! Put it in the hands of a professional, and let them make everything simple for you.
We are always looking for new ways to simplify our lives. Please let us know any tips you may have, and if you want us to make your insurance simple give us a call at 877-971-6300!
