Isn’t it amazing how someone doing something nice can greatly affect your day, no matter how small? I was grocery shopping the other day with my two kids under the age of two, which can be an adventure. I was walking out of the store with both kids fussing, a cart full of groceries, and a stressed out demeanor. I loaded the groceries into the trunk of my SUV and loaded the kiddos into their car seats when I realized that I was not parked next to a cart corral. In fact, I was not close to one at all. I started thinking about my options when a kind lady asked if she could take my cart for me. This simple gesture of kindness helped this frazzled young mom more than I can say.
We have all had moments where someone has sent us a kind text, bought our Starbucks drink, or been showed love in some way that was unexpected. October 5th is National Do Something Nice Day. Life can be stressful and hard. Take time this Thursday to bless someone by doing something nice. You never know the impact it can have on their life, and it is sure to brighten your day up too!
