Faith and Family Night at the Ballpark

“Take me out to the ball game, take me out with the crowd”. It is a classic baseball song that we all know and love. Baseball is known as America’s favorite past time, and for good reason! Whether you are into the hitting side of the game (grand slams anyone?), pitching (no-hitters are awesome), or great defensive plays (like turn two’s), baseball can be so fun to watch.

Did you know that half of all Major League Baseball teams dedicate a game in their season to Faith and Family nights? Basically what this means is that they gather together before or after games and have speakers, and sometimes Christian bands, that get up and talk about how their faith has influenced their life for the better. I for one love seeing the tradition of faith and family meet up with the professional world of baseball.
