Since summer vacations are winding down, it’s time to start preparing the kids to head back to school. Here are a few tips to help both parents and children get ready:
- Be sure to schedule doctor appointments now so that everyone’s up to date with immunizations required by the schools.
- Start your bedtime routines a week before the first day of school to help ease everyone back into those early wake-up hours.
- Double-check each supply list to make sure you won’t have any last-minute shopping trips to make. For our Missouri clients, the Sales Tax Holiday is this Friday, August 4 through Sunday, August 6. Why not take advantage of sales tax savings?
- Have your children prepare grocery lists for lunches and meal preps for home. This will make them feel included and excited to make healthy food choices.
On behalf of the team at MAX Insurance Agency in Overland Park, we hope you and your family have a fantastic school year!
