The pace that the world runs at seems to be ever increasing. It’s fun to be active and on the go, but the more you do, the more tempting it is grab a quick meal from a fast food restaurant or zap a frozen meal from a bag in your microwave. While convenient, these meal options are often poor in nutritional value, and over time can deal negative effects to our overall health.
It takes just a couple of minutes to drink a glass of Juice. If you are able to do this a couple times a day you will be well on your way to getting the USDA daily recommended 5-9 servings of Fruits and vegetables we all need.
Below are some of the recipes we use.
6-8 full size carrots
6-8 Celery stalks
1 cup of blueberries
9 oz bag of Kale
1 cup of strawberries
9 oz bag of spinach
6-8 Celery Stalks
2 large tomatoes
We usually do our juicing every other night, and make enough to last us a couple of days. Our kids have even become interested in what we’re doing and will often ask for glass of whatever we are making.
