It is no surprise that the month with Valentine’s Day is the also National Chocolate Lover’s Month. Aisles are filled with bags of heart shaped candies, boxes of chocolates, and chocolate covered EVERYTHING! We are overwhelmed with options everywhere we go with chocolate options. After finishing a 30 day long reset diet, I have been weary of adding in foods that are high in sugar and fat, which tends to be a lot of chocolate items. So if I am going to eat something chocolatey, it needs to be amazing! Here are some tried and true recipes that highlight chocolate.
- Death by Chocolate Poke Cake: Wow. This is a rich and tasty cake that is sure to hit the spot. It is also easy and not very time consuming. Check it out here: https://www.lovebakesgoodcakes.com/death-by-chocolate-poke-cake
- Peanut Butter Mug Cake: Few things in this world fit together as nicely as chocolate and peanut butter. If you are looking for a smaller scale recipe then this is for you. It has a few more ingredients, but takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish. http://www.yammiesnoshery.com/2012/03/chocolate-peanut-butter-mug-cake.html
